Le Sueur, Minnesota, a community of about 4,000, is located 50 miles Southwest of the
Twin Cities on the National Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway. It occupies the unique location as the geographical center of the
quad-counties of Le Sueur, Nicollet, Sibley and Scott.
Named after the French explorer, Pierre Charles Le Sueur, the community is rich in history
and tradition but has maintained a progressive outlook toward change and has been successful in its attempts to
provide a high quality of life for all its citizentry.
Le Sueur residents are positive and aggressive in pursuing what is best for the stability
and growth of the community. City development is a continual process with a expansion to the public library
