Envision Le Sueur 2020

Dear Le Sueur Community Member,

Are you interested in helping to assure the future vitality of Le Sueur? Did you realize that a group of 15-20 volunteers--architects, landscape architects, designers, and planners--will be in Le Sueur this coming Friday and Saturday (October 19 th & 20 th ) to help us creatively look at some options for Le Sueur's future?

As a member of the Envision Le Sueur 2020 Steering Committee, I encourage you to consider participating in the Minnesota Design Team Visit which is being staged at the new MS/HS Commons and Auditorium.

Please consider joining us for a FREE community dinner at 6 PM on Friday, October 19th in the MS/HS Commons followed by a Town Meeting led by MN Design Team Members. This is a vital part of the "information gathering" stage of "The Visit" in addition to the Team's community tour and stakeholder presentations earlier on Friday.

Then come back on Saturday, October 20th at 7 PM for a Presentation & Results of the Team's findings and ideas. There will be "design sketches" displayed in the Commons and a Powerpoint presentation in the Auditorium. School Board Vice-Chair John Chamberlain will be the MC for the evening. Stick around for refreshments and prize drawings at the end of the evening.

There will be FREE child care both evenings starting at 5:30 PM on Friday (includes dinner) and 6:30 PM on Saturday at Park Elementary School. Contact Teresa Tebbe (665-2215) to register.

We are trying to get an approximate number count of participants for Friday's dinner, so if you think that you and others in your family are interested, please contact Anne Murray (665-8141) or Phyllis Fleischauer (665-8864) to give them an attendance count for one or both evenings if you do not already have a ticket for the evening.

If you cannot participate both evenings, please consider attending either Friday or Saturday!
